Meet Nicole:
Meet Nicole and K9 Settler & Journee! Setter is a liver-spotted Dalmatian who is pursuing the discipline of human remains detection with our team. Many people may not be aware the versatility, stamina, and drive of the Dalmatian! They were originally bred for hunting as well as carriage dogs in the early days.
Before beginning Search and Rescue, Settler had a long career in a variety of different performance sports such as agility, Fast CAT, and many more!
Journee may be smallest K9 on the team, weighing in at only 35lbs — but this young Dalmatian is full of enthusiasm to work! This youngster is just beginning her Search and Rescue training career, pursuing a discipline in human remains detection.
Journee is incredibly friendly and extroverted. She is energetic, ambitious, and is up for any training challenge placed in front of her.
When she is not sniffing out sources, she can usually be found prancing in heel position alongside her owner, running an agility course, or chasing a ball.
Settler & Journee resides with two miniature donkeys, a miniature horse, and a full-size paint horse! He is incredibly active, and loves to move. He enjoys any activity thrown at him, but will do anything for his ball!
